AIPM Completed Ministries
Where and when American volunteers have served in the UK.
American volunteers have been serving in British Baptist churches since April 2000. Initial assignments were as short-term pastors only, but as the ministry developed youth and children’s workers began serving and on 3 occasions, project teams have helped with construction work in these churches.
The goal for short-term pastors is to help the church continue doing ministry despite their resources limitations. The goal for youth and children’s workers is support existing ministry to young people or start new programs to reach children and youth in the community.
Project teams have been effective in such work as installing new floors, converting toilets for use by disabled persons and installing room partitions and new doors.
