American Short-Term Interim Ministers (Interim Ministers) have been serving in British Baptist churches since April 2000. The ministry was never on our radar screen! God began it when Middlesbrough Baptist Church called an American former member to serve as they searched for a British minister. The ministry worked and since 2000, 42 Americans have served 22 British churches and one in Spain and 49 have been baptized.

The goal for Interim Ministers is to help the church continue doing ministry and outreach despite resources limitations. AIPM’s view is that UK churches are not short of ideas for doing ministry but are sometimes short of help. It’s our goal to offer the needed help.
